Bill RiplingerWILLIAM G. RIPLINGER (Bill) is a contract management consultant to contractors. Bill was a contract negotiator for the Navy in Seattle from 1978-1987 where he was involved in the formation and administration of several shipbuilding programs. Contracts were Firm Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursement and Fixed Price Incentive. In early 1987 Bill joined NAVFAC as a supervisory contract specialist. In 1991 Bill left Government service and established Riplinger & Associates where he worked with contractors holding public contracts until early 2000 when he joined Government service again as a Contracting Officer. In 2007 Bill joined the Army’s Joint Contracting Command in Baghdad Iraq where he worked until November 2009. As a Contingency Contracting Officer, he taught many courses and workshops for contracting officers and acquisition professionals. Bill is a past president of the West Sound Chapter of NCMA as well as a current member. Bill is a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), he is DAU Level III certified and an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. He is a journeyman machinist, a graduate of Central Washington University and a graduate of the George Washington University’s Public Contracting Certificate Program. Bill is an avid alpine ski racer, a sailor, and a yoga instructor. |
