Brad Powers

Brad Powers is the Director of the Technical Services Acquisition Division within the Management Services Center at the General Services Administration’s Federal Acquisition Service.  He is responsible for management of GSA’s Professional Engineering Services (PES), Language and Consolidated Multiple Award Schedules. Brad also focuses on training customer agencies to use the MAS professional services Schedules via in person training and through remote means such as Webinars. He is the co-host of the “Services Ordering Solutions: Avoiding MAS Confusion” Podcast and manages its accompanying blog site at www.schedulesolutions.net. Before coming to GSA in January of 2003, Brad was a Contracting Officer at the FISC, Puget Sound WA, which is a field office of the Department of the Navy’s Naval Supply Systems Command. In that role his division managed contracts for supplies and services in support of ship repair facilities, engineering activities and fleet units deployed throughout the Western Pacific. He has also worked in the areas of supply logistics, business management and e-business. Brad is a graduate of Washington State University.
