We thank Tina Jenson of the Department of Labor for speaking to us at our 11-5-09 meeting. She was kind enough to provide us with a bank of resources in the form of presentations and resource books which you will find most useful in complying with the various labor acts--both as a Contracting Officer or Contractor. Check it out!

Our Mission

Serving the West Sound Contract Management Community since 1989!

The mission of West Sound Chapter 126 of the NCMA, located in Kitsap County, Washington, is to provide an interactive forum for contract professionals to learn, teach, disseminate, and improve, not only their individual skills in contracting, but those of their agency, department and colleagues, and to enhance the public’s understanding of what we do.

Because most of our members are involved in federal contracting, that therefore is a primary focus of our endeavors. However, we also provide benefits in all types of contracting, state, local, private, international, and in all facets (supply, services, construction, research development) and at all tiers: government, prime contractor, subcontractor.

To this end, we have monthly meetings with speakers chosen, with the participation of the membership, for the timeliness and comprehensiveness of the topics. We also use a website and a monthly newsletter, to solicit views of our membership and other interested parties and to disseminate information. We endeavor to assist our members in every way possible to gain greater certification, to be aware of job opportunities, and to enhance their professional careers through a professionally and personally rewarding network of similar professionals.
